Hello

Recently I realize my dome light doesn't turn on when I unlock doors, open doors and remove key when shutting down.
Also I feel like my turbo timer doesn't sense my door opening and closing because after I take the key out and close the door, my turbo timer doesn't start doing the count down even after a few mins so I had to shut down the car manually.

Any clues if it's door sensor being faulty or a fuse?

Thanks in advance

btw, I checked and my turbo timer is working cause when I open and close my trunk it kicks in the count down.

it might be something in the door. when i had my driver side door stuck unlocked, the lights wouldnt work unless pressed on them.

you have a turbo timer installed in a 2011? i thought those didnt work? or is it only the models with the push buttons they dont work in? if they work when pressed it wouldnt be the fuse..hmmm

are the switches on the right position? do they work from the slider if you turn that to on?

Did you check all of the doors, or just the driver's door?

BTW, odds are high that the turbo timer has two input triggers... one for the trunk, and one for the dome light. Trunk is probably a pin switch. (but might be a tap into the "trunk is open" wire.) Dome light is probably a tap into the wire running to the dome light. Likely the installer used ScotchLok taps.... which if installed improperly damage the wire. Very likely if check the tap you find the wire has broken (wire insulation may be more or less intact, with the copper conductor broken)

Hard to say over here as Booter mentioned but if all your doors do not trigger the dome lights to come on it would be a bigger problem than just a door sensor in the drivers door. Possibly would be a module that controls these features. look up in the shop manuals see what you can find. Best bet is warranty at dealership!
