View Full Version : Trailing arm bushes
My friend took her car in for service, it has 75000 Kilometers on the odometer, she was told she needed to replace the trailing arm bushes. She has the MAP warranty and it says the trailing link is covered, are the bushes not part of the trailing link? and if so shouldn't they be covered under the extended warranty.

Been doing some gardening today SUBE? You got "bushes" on your mind :P It's bushings, and yes they should be covered.Bushings are part of the trailing-links, and are not listed under wear items, therefore they should be covered.

the dealer should send in a mapp ticket for coverage if for some reason it comes back declined they can ask why. if the mapp coverage it says its not a covered part.

Actually, believe it or not when I was growing up in Belfast they were referred to as bushes:) old habits die hard.:P
Thanks for the replies by the way. I will tell her to sort it with the dealer.
