Currently using 91 I've been using it for a year on my 2010 mazda 3 gx. Has anyone switch from 91-89 with no problem or with any problems.

No difference... if your engine calls for regular grade gas it's what it runs best on... this has been threaded to death

your car runs on 87...just use 87 and save a few bucks.

you've been spending 14 cents per litre more than you had to for an entire year

should have been running 87 octane this whole time.

If I spend an average of $40 a week on gas.... let's do some math.

Averaging at $1.20/l That's $2496
At premium you spent $2828.

Our cars will simply "learn" to use the 91 fuel as it would the 87 fuel because that's the way it's programmed.

Did you see improved performance on your ride with 91? Horsepower, acceleration, torque, whp?

Gas mileage sucks with 91 for me 30kms for one bar. Well I've been reading a lot of mazda 3s have bad fuel milage

That's not very good man. There have to be other factors causing only 350/tank for you.

speed mileage isn't even that bad lol... you should be getting at least 400km otherwise your car sucks gas worse then a turbo

VertigoM

Yes that's very bad mileage. Even on my Speed3 I'm getting between 9.5 to 10.5 liters/100km.

I think most GXs are getting 500-600 from what I've read (and using 87).

why you even waste the money on 91 when your not going to get any gains from it. just use regular. good old 87, and maybe the odd 94 fill up if you must.
