Hi everyone I'm not sure if anyone here has the same problem i have?! But just recently i had to fix my driver side seat 'cos where the seat sits between the brackets it snapped off in place. After i got it fixed(w/ warranty) at the dealer where i bought my car. Now when every time my mom drives the car she has to adjust the seat to her comfort and viewing(shes small in size) and the seat belt light on the dashboard keeps blinking, it blinks 4 or 5 times(when driving and stopping with seat belt on) with every 3 second intervals. It never happened before but it started to after i got my seat fixed. I looked under the seat and i see taped wires connecting from the seat to the floor, i played around with it(moving it around in place) and the light stopped blinking. I thought it was fixed but i was wrong, every time now when the seat is adjusted the light comes back on, plus just yesterday now when i was driving it happened to me this time and playing around with the wires doesn't work anymore. Does anyone know whats wrong with my car for it to do that? Please help!! My car is a 2010 Mazda 3 2.5 GS

Did you take it back to the shop that did the repair work and ask them about it? Very likely a the harness under the seat isn't plugged in properly.Note that there is some small risk of setting off a airbag if you unplug and replug them yourself while the battery is connected. (Small as in I've never heard of it happening. But still...)

all that mess under the seat should be secured by various clips and tape... if the dealer was lazy and didn't put it all back together right, then you'll see that as a result
take it back... they f'd it up, they should be the ones who fixes it

Take it back for sure. It only makes sense. See what they say first, then come on here and ask, if they can't fix it. If it was fixed under warranty, the repair should be under warranty too.

Just take it back

The dealer who fixed it should be the first person you ask about this
