no way at 300,000 miles it has original front pads and replaced the rears 3 times.. that makes no sense when the bulk of brake wear is front heavy.. other wise.. awesome km. would like to see some pics of the car however.

the first gen 3's had issues with the rear brakes. the rears wore out as early as 20000km. I saw this personally and thats not a joke, the fronts lasted forever. Almost 1/2 a mill is skeptical though I have to agree with you

I'm on my second set of brakes (first replacements from the originals) on my car and they have lasted me well over 100,000KM up until now and are still going strong.

I'm at 123,000 ams & have yet to replace my rear brakes. Fronts were replaced at 110,000 km.

My friend just sold his Mazda 3 with 385,000 kms.
Only issues - AC Died. Front Ball Bearings. Minus / Tires, Oil & Brakes.

I have at least 90k km on my brakes ( most likely 170k km) on mine and they look almost brand new. Kind of retarded actually.

I mean I'm on my first set still. 71, 000 km and they still measure at 7mm. So I hope at least 120,000 km or so.
