I've read a bunch of posts where blokes are setting high camber rates and mostly on seriously dropped rides.
I've just picked up a set of BC Coilovers and have a MazdaSpeed Rear Sway to install shortly on my Mazda 3 Sedan and want to lower my ride, but only about 1 1/4 inches at most. Not at all looking to slam my ride and continually play with the adjustments up and down for winter/summer.
What would anyone using these coilovers recommend as a reasonable performancecamber rate adjustment be for the fronts? I'm not looking to buy rear camber equipment, would rather try to keep this as simple as posslble...if possible. I'll assume as well that an alignment will most likely be required.
Thanks for your help in advance.

You adjust it majorly by the strut mounts on the top when you install it. After that, it can be fine tuned with an alignment.
It's all up to you. Just remember, no visible front camber is allowed according to the HTA.

Leave em where they come from the factory for the front and you will be fine for what you want. In my sig it's factory setting (1.5ish). Now I have about 2ish.

Thanks, if you mean factory, BC Coil's...I bought them slightly used and they are not set to anything as they are loosely bolted. If factory is -1.5, then -2ish, seems quite reasonable to promote improved handling. How do you determine what -2 is on the actual camber plate? What notches do you use for -2 , I don't see any numerals? Can you send a pic of yours ? I'd like to preset them if possible, or provide for fine tuning for my alignment guy if he needs easy access.
I was also temped to core a whole in top to provide for adjusting down the road. The car will end up my son's in about a year for college.

If that's the drivers side, which I suspect it is. And the left side of the picture is the inside of the car, you will have a whole lot of camber. That looks to be about what I was running last summer.
Put the bolts evenly on either side of the middle circle and you will have about 0.

People have bored out the top of the tower to no ill effects. Sadly I forget which way does what you could email BC or wait for someone else to chime in. :)
I can try and see if I can see anything when I get home but I am doubtfull.

I'm going to give BC a call to understand how to set the camber on the plates to 2 degrees.
If I bore a hole through the top of the strut tower, will I or anyone else be able to put the stock struts back on without issue? I like the fact that there is some easy way to adjust back if I didn't like too much negative camber and didnt have to spend a few hours unhitching numerous parts to reset.
