Playstation 4??

Anyone have some insight on this?

My buddy is looking to replace his broken PS3.. and Future Shop and Best Buy are claiming they dont have any.. claiming a PS4 is coming on the 20th.

Seems like its coming, not that thrilled about it, I have a perfectly good PS3 and dont really feel like dropping 300+$ so I can still get current games

Sony is having a Playstation related event on the 20th. It's probably about the PS4 but I doubt it'll be available right away.

Get your friend to check kijiji. No sense spending full money on a PS3 if a PS4 is inbound this year anyways.

Unless the Futureshop guys actually pulled up the SKU on their register?

i don't think thats coming out for a couple years. i've heard about companies getting developer kits though. if companies don't have the hardware, how are they supposed to make the games?

and supposedly they are waiting for microsoft to make the first move.

This is the first i'm hearing about a PS4 coming out this quarter. I don't know why it would be coming so soon, i feel like they haven't used the PS3s capabilities to it's max.

im happy gta V has been pushed back. as much as i wanted to, i knew i wasn't going to play that when spring/summer came... too many other fun things to do instead of sitting inside. next fall/winter though.... hell ya

Sony launch their Playstations around the fall time so they can get ready for the christmas season. Most likely a news release. Still have the original PS2 that I stood in line for when it launched.

Expect to see the new xbox this fall in time for the Christmas season and the Ps4 in 2014. Sony had stated they want to see MS make the first move.

it amazes me when ever i see games like last of us, crysis 3, gta 5 etc... cuz the system runs these games on less then 512 mb of ram, lets not forget that some of the memory goes to the os while running these games. i first noticed this ram problem back in 2007 when playing mw1 with 3 other of my friends, when ever an airstrike was called in, the game would lagg.

dont forget Far cry 3.

the graphics are intense in that game but it runs sooo smoothly.
