So to make if short in the winter storm on Friday some ae hole hit my car in my own driveway I was asleep I did not hear anything my friend across from me saw it but could not get the plates in time. So passenger side fender/liner was ripped off managed to find one clip an clip the bottom part that still is good but the others are broken and can't get anything clipped. The bumper and grill have cracks through the middle all in all does not look so bad just pretty pissed off. The undergrad part of it snapped off the bumper right now zip ties are my friends. Gonna need a under tray for sure thou. Pics to follow later

Any thoughts? I just wanted I share to clear my head I was so pissed off.

That's sucks, you'd figure it would be pretty safe in your driveway!

Ill post pic once I get home. It looks better , I'm certain overtime it will crack more. I took it off pulled together with crap ton of super glue.

Like I said does not look all that bad now , with the fender liner all clips were missing so the right side of the bumper was sagging down I found one clip and did the bottom the top also broke off but I just put them back on it was fine. The crack on the bottom was a lot bigger once I took everything off glued it zip tied (also holding into the wiring ) everything looks fine. But too me I know it's there and it bugging me considering this is a new bumper :/ all and all just frustrated but happy could of been a lot worse.

you should report it to the cops, I know they may not do anything but at the same time depending on how busy it is on your street, it shouldn't be too difficult to narrow down who may have been going through that area at that time (who lives in that area with the type of car your friend saw/same colour) and check if there is damage on his as well? Maybe?

you should get a dashcam.

I'm trying to figure out how someone hit you in your driveway. IIRC, it's fairly secluded. So chances are it's one of your neighbours.

That's what I'm thinking I was told backed up into me fast considering there was snow on the ground that day and u need for speed to get moving. All and all I'm sure ill find the person again. Already have a plan to fix it. But still a headache I did not need. Sigh

So I found out apparently this guy was screwing around the complex then he floored it forward and slide right into my car. I unno I just want them to come forward I know who he visits. I just want an apology , not gonna charge anyone.

I would just chain his car to the car of the person they visit the next time it snows. He can their bumper home instead of trying to take yours.
