Your average road user is less forgiving and will think your car is broken.

That was my co workers first response when I showed him lowered speed 3s and told him I might do the same to mine. "looks like it needs time in a shop" haha

Bang on. Nothing's worse than slowly trailing behind or waiting to a full-stop for an excessively slammed douche turtling over a speed-bump.

I've never understood this, it's a speed bump it's meant to slow you down. Honk all you want at me entering and exiting plazas but not over a device meant to control speed.

entering a plaza is not a speed bump, thats your car thinking a curb is a speed bump. as for speed bump it is suppose to slow you down, not come to a complete stop and crawl over it.

My comment was pertaining to EXCESSIVELY SLAMMED vehicles. I feel like it was mistakingly taken out of context. Does someone here understand what I was getting at? Hope it made enough sense :)

The term "stance" is like "rice"... everyone has a different definition.
A dropped car, and some good fitting wheels, some camber = Fine
Stupid Camber (x2 if its not even needed to fit said wheels), mashed fenders, unsafe stretch, and crying everytime you break something = Not fine. lol

I know entering a plaza is not a speed bump. That's why I said I get when people honk at me for that as it is an inconvenience.
However slowing down to go over something that is made to slow you down seems normal??

I get what you're saying. My car is pretty low (lower than my sig) so I have to go really slow over speed bumps, I never saw it as an issue because as I mentioned before they are designed to control speed.
I also have an A pillar gauge haha.

If slammed/stanced cars have taught us anything in life. Its to slow down and go over one wheel at a time.
People are in such rush to go nowhere.

... I thought it taughts us how overly concerned we are with image and perception. All show, no go, and barely driveable. I think people mature and they just grow out of it.

They are ment to slow you down, not bring you to a complete stop and go over it at a snails pace to ensure you dont hit your bumper going ~2km/h (i dont know if your car is that extreme but many are)

Call me a fool... but I like a car that is still practical and economical. Not one that self-destroys itself every time I take it out on the road and that it puts the risk of my passengers and myself at jeopardy... but hey it look's cool and I get attention.

What I'm saying is...... if you want a practical and economical car with no real regard to making an impression on people with styling........ buy a Honda. At least one of the things most Mazda owners here like is that our cars have some style and stand out on the road (even non-stanced).
I'm not going to argue about the "dangers" of stanced cars because it just goes around in circles.

If you want to go in circles lets talk about how stance isn't actually just about stretch, poke, and camber.
Lets not forget stance of 'yore
