Im finding them to be pretty stiff, so I want to set it to the softest settings.
What height would you recommend so my tires dont rub since they aren't as stiff?
Any other advise or concerns should I look for when I do this?

Just play with it. 1/2" at a time.
P.S Advice.

Edit: Holy tire sizes batman.
Please read a thread on appropriate tire sizes for our car.

Im sitting on 15" 195/55/15. i think.... Pretty sure. I plan on getting new 255/65/16s for my summers.

Is it also more stressful for the springs when set to softest?

why would you with a larger side wall tire on a larger rim.. you will be messing up your speedo.

205/55R16 is the oem size for a 16"rim, I get if you want a wider tire "255" on a 9+" rim.. I'm no expert on adjusting your ride height but I strongly suggest you use a tire calculator to match up your tire/rim package with oem size

ex: I have 205/55R16 as my oem size and I run 18x8.5" in the summer (225/40R18) the are the closest matched radius and mess my speedo up by 0.2%

Sorry this isn't relevant to your question, but thought you might want to consider it before putting that size on, Hyperion's advice seems to be a good idea, I'd do the same.

Holy tire size difference batman!

You need to keep your diameter as close to stock as possible.

Youve got a 2" difference in tires right now, thats HUGE!

who are you referring to?

I don't see anyone in this thread that went from 225/40/18 down to 195/55/15

Unless I'm missing something

+1. My stock rims are this size. As well as my winters.

Yes, the stock size for my 3 was 195/65r15. I went 195/55/15 to have a lower profile look.
This summer I will go back to 195/65r15. That is what I meant to say.

Back to my question, will decreasing the stiffness have a larger effect(if any) on the wear and tear of my coils?
