Anyone have LED DRL'S in their lower front bumper on a 2013 M3 sky?
I found a couple on line but the fog light area above where I want to put some DRL'S looks different.
The ads say will fit 2010 and up Mazda 3

Any links to help me find exact fit LED DRL's would be greatly appreciated

Unfortunately they don't fit my lower front bumper. I think the ones you have go in the upper center part of your front bumper. My car has no cut out for that type of led drl

Let me know if this is what you meant. Watch the end of this man's video and you can probably find where to get them somewhere on his channel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lg_mv2heBhk

Judging by this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tsgcgJxClQE and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lDGu69C3xKE&list=UUPCMcZnLC1lyvxsxDa1wKow&index=9 I'm pretty sure it's not a strip lol

I've wanted to put some DRLs in mine for a while, but they don't make anything for the 2012/13 bumper style, the good thing is that 2012/13 use the same style bumper so we may see something. I have been thinking of making my own, and plan to do so in the summer. The guy in the video appears to be using these, http://www.ebay.ca/itm/2-White-DRL-Daytime-Running-9-SMD-LED-Fog-Light-Lamp-for-Audi-/310471651454?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item48498d707e&vxp=mtr&_uhb=1#ht_4603wt_1397 He said you have to modify the bumper a bit, not sure how much, but maybe I will use those instead of making my own if you don't have to modify it much.

If you're going for the same look you may as well go with those eBay ones and play around with them since they're so cheap. The modifications are probably pretty minor seeing as the only thing you would have to modify is probably the plastic trim which sits behind the bumper and it's all one piece along with the fog light trim (I would know I just installed my fogs yesterday lol): http://i.ebayimg.com/t/MAZDA-3-SEDAN-AND-HATCHBACK-2012-NEW-OEM-FOG-LIGHT-KIT-WITH-SWITCH-BBM3-66-122-/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/$T2eC16Z,!%29cE9s4PudvOBP+2g-eTv!~~60_57.JPG. You'd probably have to drill or cut through it a bit as well as the actual DRL, doubt it would be that hard

I asked the guy on youtube and he said you have to remove the black piece, sucks that it's all one piece, but I guess you could just cut it from the fog light piece and if you ever want to put it back you could just use some glue.

He sent me some pics and he actually cuts slots into the black plastic.
