Running 6000K headlight 8000K Fogs - soon to be 4500K Headlights & 3000K Fogs.
35W
DO NOT USE 55W Unless you like the smell of burning headlamps. ;)
No name Brand, only had one 3000K bulb burn out so far. Been using them for a year now.

35k ballasts / 6000k / purchased from imports tuning, so far with all the hids ive had which have all been no names i suppose or names i wont remember. some have lasted 6 months, a year, so far the set i have from imports tuning have been over a year. i think our avalanche has a lumens kit, 35k ballast and 6000k bulb. because of the trucks stupid auto setting sometimes the headlights both dont turn on at the same time, but recently a fog light connector got corroded and now i need to replace the oem harness.
girlfriends 3 also has 35k ballast and 6000k headlights from imports turning, so far so good, had them for about 2.5 years we have replaced a bulb or ballast or both along the way. hard to remember between the two cars but kelvin is fantastic to deal with for warranty or purchased parts. her fogs are 35k ballasts and i think the bulbs are 12,000k, or what ever purple is.

1st kit from The HID Lighting (old forum sponsor). It was China branded 35W 4300K that lasted about 2 years.
2nd kit from Import Tuning through Kelvin. He sourced me "Philips" HID kit + bulb (35W 4300K). So far it's been working for about 1 year and problem free. I expect this kit to last me 4+ years
1st kit was relatively good for the price, however when the head lights were on Auto mode sometimes only the driver side turns on.
2nd kit is better since it uses the older style big ballast and works perfectly fine in Auto mode after I installed a time-delay-relay for turning on and turning off.

Headlights - 5000K Morimoto 35w
Fogs - 3000K Morimoto 35w
Reverse lights - 6000K from China 15w
All installed about 6 months ago.
The only slight problems I've had
- The headlight on the passenger side has flickered for a second on the occasional start up since the day I installed them. (FWIW: The system is directly connected to an Optima Yellow Top battery).
- Reverse lights take longer than I would like to warm up... (I live in cottage country and sometimes the car is parked where it's pitch black) I'm considering taking one reverse HID out and putting the original bulb back in... but it'll look retarded with one of each, so I'm hesitant, and may just live with the slow warm up.
I'm also thinking about changing out my 3000K fog lights for 5000K to match the headlights.

6000k LED Switchback Turn Signals
6000k Morimoto 35W - No problems for about 3 months. Before that had VVME 3 months: relay died; before that had cheap eBay garbage died in 3 days

5000K 35 watt Morimoto's ... only been using for a week and a bit. Changed over from DDM 55W (which were causing me issues from day 1 with ballast issues and melting the fuse).

How are they, I was looking to get a set from nextmod and having them sent out here but they dont do 4300K, got any pics of your 6000K?
I actually have the 8000k in these and they're a lot whiter than most 8000k kits. This was all nextmod had in stock at the time I picked them up a while back, I'm sooo happy with them.
I accidentally got gabbygenier the 6000k set of these and they look good, but I still like mine better haha. Both temperatures look great.
EDIT: Found better pics. The second pic is a comparison between gabbygenier's old 4300 kit from Imports Tuning and my 8000k Helligkeit.

35K ballast running 6000K bulbs.
Locally purchased from my mechanic in Montreal. Gives out a 1yr replacement warranty.
So far excellent light output, zero flickering.

35 watt with 6000k bulbs. I bought it from JRP in Mississauga.
I hope they last, the ballasts are bulky and solid. But I know nothing about electrical and stuff.. but if its proving to be inconsistent then I will go back to stock.
