Hey there, I got a few questions. I want to lower my 3, but I don't want to spend too much money at the moment. I was thinking of something like Sportlines, on stock struts? I was wondering how long the stock struts would last? Is there a better spring to go? Such as Eibach pro kit, or Tein, or another company? I want to be low, but not too low as I live in Northern, Ontairo and the roads aren't all that great. Also I have stock rims (16") with stock tire size of 205/55R16. I want as close to no wheel gap as possible with a spring setup... Last question, would a spring setup throw off my alignment so much that it would destroy my tires, and is it necesary to get a camber kit in the rear? Thanks

Search.
But basically, your stock shocks with sportlines won't last long so you should probably just budget to do both if that's what you want.
Prokits are just a higher spring then the same manufacturer as sportlines but won't meet your next to low wheel gap requirment (which kind of contradicts not too low).
You will need an alignment you might need camber arms.

Try Canuck Motorsports. Drop approx 1.75 all around.
Replace struts yes.
Alignment yes.
Camber kit yes.
Id suggest going coils. I went with the spring and shocks set up, and I'm never satisfied with how my car looks. Since you live up north you can raise your ride height in winter with coild.
Also upgrade rims LOL
But that's just my opinion.

I had sport lines for like 2 years no camber kit

Ya, I kinda contradicted myself there ahaha. Basically what I want is the least amount of wheel gap possible with lowering springs... Forget the not too low comment ahaha. And ya, I know the pro kits are also made by eibach, and I also did a lot of searching, I was just curious on other members that have experience with different springs opinions on them... Thanks for the info!

You honestly get sick of springs after awhile. I had prokits for 3 yrs I can't wait for spring/summer to hit. I'm gonna go coils this year, its so appealing because they are adjustable.

You'll get board of those to and stop adjusting them. I used to adjust them up for the winter but I didn't bother this year. If anything it's just more to maintain. I just keep removing them to lube them ( rears) so they don't seize up.
I just took out my rear adjustments and became static in the rear. I slammed my front as low as it can go but this summer for a long distance trip will be just putting it back to stock.

go with prokits if you want to get rid of the wheel gap. sportlines if i want to start tucking in the wheels a little bit. i highly suggest the prokits if your not lookin for an aggressive drop but want that nice oem look. looking at my old pictures before i started lowering make me feel like that car use to be a monster truck lol
if you're looking to tuck wheel/tire/anything, go coils. Never seen someone tuck wheel on a sportline drop
