Currently owns: Mazda3, Year: 2005, Automatic transmission, Mileage: 95,400KM.

I've been experiencing some problems with my car.. long story short.. the rpm use to jump WHILE I was driving.. but I got that fixed.. now, when I accelerate a little (and I mean VERY little).. the RPM goes up high and then I sort of feel a push in the car and then it drops down to what it's SUPPOSE to be at..& this is when I'm STILL holding the gas pedal at a constant speed (I feel like the engine revs up higher than what I'm pushing on the gas pedal). It does this everytime when I'm at a stop sign and then begin to accelarte.

P.S - cleaned out the throttle body, disconnected the battery & replaced brand new (iridium platinum) spark plugs..

Any ideas what this could be? Please help!

just a guess but sounds somewhere between possible shift shock and the throttle body position needing a reset from it being cleaned. might need to take it to the dealer for a PCM and TCM update and get the throttle body position sensor reset.

I feel that too. I noticed it especially after putting on my transmission mount.
