Hi TM3!

I've been lurking this forum for awhile now, just reading about Mazda3's. Just recently I purchased a used Mazda3 and so far I am loving this vehicle. I'm located in the Kitchener/Waterloo area so if you are around there let me know! I need to get some TM3 decals and licence plate covers, someone please direct me to where I can get 'em! Anyways, here are some pics of my MZ3!

Future Mods:
- Add a spoiler
- Tinted Windows
- SRI
- New wheels
- Red Caliper

Anybody have any tips on installing a spoiler and where to get an OEM MZ3 or a MS3 spoiler? Or should I get a shop to do it?

Welcome! NextMod sells the MS3 spoiler. $250 unpainted, otherwise try some scrapyards and other members. Best of luck with your future mods!

Avoid buying new, I didnt realize nextmod sold them but you can fairly easily find one even off just the classifieds if you keep an eye out, it just may be difficult to find your exact colour. Can save you around 100 though. I settled for black as I had the black and red theme back then anyway.

Once you have one Point zero autosound on northfield and davenport can install. dont waste your time with local dealerships.. heaven forbid they be able to install their own damn spoilers..:bang

Welcome!

Someone get this guy a spoiler quick!
You should be able to find one used in the Classified section.

You could make a WTB thread (want to buy)

Just contacted Point Zero and they are quoting me $150 for the install. I found a spoiler at the scaper for $165. Are there any other places around here that will install it for a little cheaper? I think StreetPerformance does it for $100, so I might go that far if there's no good shops around this area that can do the install for around $100.

For the tint, I'm thinking of going 23% all around. I hope that's not too dark at night.

Maybe it's just me but I'd rather spend the extra $50 and not have to spend a whole day driving to SP, waiting for the install, and driving home.

As for tint, I've got 20% all around (basically the exact same). The only time I run into problems is turning left or right while pedestrians are crossing the street. In the KW area there's a few that aren't lit up very well (University & Weber come to mind specifically) and you really have to make sure you see where you're turning. I've had two or three close calls there with university students running across on a "do not cross" symbol while I'm turning left on a yellow.

23% all round is pretty dark. you will have a hard times seeing out the back at night.

Looks awesome! I'll have to take you up on that offer in a few months. I'm planning to save up for a MS3 spoiler.
