A sponsor here can help you.
I ordered mine with the help of Jim from Overseas Auto. I gave them an e-mail and they quoted me with paypal charge instead of calling with a credit card. Reason being I went with them is so that I don't get hassled with stupid fees at my door.

I ordered mine directly from corksport and didn't have any trouble. It was fast!

I might still do a GB this spring from Corksport. I've already got contacts with them and ran one last year that went really well.

If there is a GB; I am in for an SRI!

I just wanted to add that I as well ordered mine directly from corksport, there was a duty fee of $20 (approx ??) I have had it now for a year, and just drove through the winter in ottawa (gets nasty up here lol) Not one problem. This SRI is made solidly especially the MAF housing unit (holds tight, no CEL's) Dryflow filter seems to never get dirty? Also noticable throttle response and a bit more fuel economy.

I just received all my led replacements from them didn't get charged 1 cent over what I already paid on their website. Maybe they only charge you duty fees or other fees above a certain value?

You get better fuel economy? After a week and my ecu adjusted my fuel dropped by about 50-100k per tank.

No way that's with the same driving characteristics lol that's insane! I know if be livid if it dropped that much from just an Intake but I know I'd be on the gas a lot more to hear it sing
But you have a 2.5 don't you? Might be different but still seems way high

The reason fuel economy drops with an intake is because it's fun to hear the sound of the intake in the higher rpm's lol
if anything, an sri should give you better fuel economy because of less restriction.
you'll most likely end up using more gas though, especially if you have an aftermarket exhaust.
i've dropped in fuel economy cause of my exhaust.
it'll only drop even more when i get my hands on the sri :)

A lot of the members at mazda3forums and mazda247 are less forgiving and have been bitching about the drop in fuel economy, some even reverted back to stock air box.

That doesn't make any sense
Less restriction how? As in more air flow?
More air flow means more fuel to combust that air

I always thought more air flow means easier combustion so less gas is used.

More air = more gas to compensate to keep the afr stable.

Smokey the bear analogy:
Imagine how a campfire works...
Wood=Fuel
Air
Fire=Engine
Throwing a lot of wood to a fire can sometimes smother it out. Without enough air, the fire (engine) burns less wood (fuel) and becomes weak, ultimately dying out :(
Let the fire (engine) breathe however by giving it more air, it will burn more wood (fuel) in turn, making it stronger :)
and remember, only YOU can prevent forest fires :thumbup:

Did the op ever get the intake before this became a debate? If not just order it from corksport, or get in on the KW group buy and save 10%. Done and done. You won't regret it. Even if you end up burning more wood or starting a forest fire.

Yes my foot may have gotten a bit heavier... I should take off those led weights.
