Rear coilover dampening adjustment - slight issue

Wondering if anyone has deleted or bent the metal tab that prevents adjustments to the dampening of the rear coilovers on hatches.

Someone mentioned a thread about it, but I can't seem to find it. I can get to the adjustment through the tire-jack compartment on the drivers side and the trunk light compartment on the passenger side, but both are tight up against this metal tab. Not sure how much pressure it's putting on that little knob (haha)

Anyone know what that is or if it can be taken care of?

No. But I've had all those panels off and it's pretty straight forward if that is what you are concerned about.
