Hey:

I tried searching this but I can't seem to find any answers.

I want to install a Mazdaspeed 3 RSB on my Mazda 3. I know that I will need to use a spacer to mount it using stock Mazda 3 end-link. I want to know if I can buy Mazdaspeed Rear end-links and use them instead of spacers. I need to replace my end-links anyway, so I would rather use the heavier duty MS3 Links.

If anyone has done this, please let me know.

Thanks in advance

Yes you can make the swap. It's recommended with the ms3 bar. Not sure if they bolt straight up by I think they do. I still have to make the change

I have run stock endlinks with spacers and a MS3 bar for 3+ years with no problems. I can't guarantee you won't have any but I certainly haven't.

I have an 1 last set for anyone who wants them. The need to be filed down slightly but they work perfectly. Many have used them with OEM links. PM me.

IMO I wouldn't change them until you need to.

I need to replace the End-links so I think I will try to see if they fit. If they don't end up fitting I will contact CWP_sedan for the spacers. Thanks for the help!

LOL, well I will let you know how it goes with the Speed3 End Links!

Yeah some people claim you don't need them as long as they are tightened correctly, etc but there is more of a chance that the will come loose because of the space allowed for movement. If you are lucky to get away with them not coming loose without spacers then more power to ya! :)

Ok so a little update. Installed Mazda speed rear endlinks and they fit great. The diameter of the bolt going into the frame is the same as the regular Mazda 3. The difference is the diameter of the bolt that attaches to the sway bar. Have to use a speed 3 sway bar for this to work

Ok, sooo another update. I have had the sway bar installed for 2 weeks and have destroyed 2 links. It seems like the link is being pulled out of the joint. 2 links and the same problem both times.....am I not installing the sway bar incorrectly?

I will post pictures when i can get them.

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
