Hey guys,

My Uncle has worked with some of his friend to develop this new product. A stylish and innovative way to chill your drinks without diluting them – all with a creative new twist!

iceDrops

Please help make his creation a reality. Please pledge on Kickstarter if you are interested. If they raise $11,000 by May 17th you will be billed for your pledge and will receive the product you pledged for. If they do not get the total $11,000 funding then you will not be billed for your pledge.

I have personally pledged before on Kickstarter (Pebble ewatch http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/597507018/pebble-e-paper-watch-for-iphone-and-android) and the project has been successful and the product has shipped- so no need to worry.

Please help make this a reality. Please pledge.

Please pass this along to anyone you may think would be interested.

Thanks!

How are these any different from Soapstone "Whiskey Stones" other than material and shape?

A few years ago a product called whiskey stones – basic squares made of soapstone - came onto the market. By freezing the soapstone and putting them into your whiskey, you hopefully would have enough energy transfer to keep your drink cool without adding ice. Unlike iceDrops, the problem with soapstone is that it is soft – and therefore the material is easily scratched and can leave residue.

Since then, dozens of variations of simple blocks have come to market – Norwegian granite, stainless steel cubes, cheaper soapstone, bigger soapstone.

Today, iceDrops have advanced the market of drink accompaniments in an innovative fashion. Unrestrained by rudimentary and inflexible material, iceDrops offer unlimited potential in terms of shape, style and eventually color while being non-porous and non-imparting.
