Ugh...
This doesn't pertain to TM3, but rather a personal vent
My 17 year old nephew and his friend left their home town of Langley, British Columbia for a weekend at the cottage on Nicola Lake (located about 150KM from Kelowna, BC).
They never returned home on Sunday for dinner. Both of their cell phones were found on the table at the cottage and a canoe was missing. Locals said that the boys were still at the cottage on Sunday morning, and that the lake was calm at the time. Winds were reported to have picked up in the afternoon, and waves are known to reach heights of 4ft in as little as 20 minutes.
RCMP were notified about the missing boys around 10:30PM on Sunday, which led to an immediate search. At about 2AM, some of the boys clothing, and a lamp that was still running were found along the shoreline. A canoe was spotted by a helicopter floating on it's side at the North end of the lake early Monday morning, Followed by some additional personal artifacts. They searched throughout the day on Monday, fighting the rough conditions of the lake but found nothing else. They said that the search was not longer being considered a rescue search, but a recovery search, as divers continue combing through the lake with sonar equipment.
At this point I can't help but suspect the worst. The worst part is not knowing... Not having any sort of closure Is there still a chance? What happened? How did it happen? How quick did it happen? Why did you have the flashlight on when you were going to be back home for dinner? Were you still out there during the night as they searched? Why didn't you take life jackets? Why were your phones left on the table?
I don't know where I expect this thread to go... I just needed to vent about it, as I've been thinking about Austin every waking moment since the whole thing hit me on Monday:(.

There are many more articles, but they are all the same information
I'll have to put a hold on everything I have going on with the car. An unscheduled trip to BC and a week or two off work is not going to fare well for me. I can't even go pick up my summer rims that Allen informed me came in today:S.
