Just put a mazdaspeed3 axle back exhaust on my 2011 Mazda3 sport 2.5L. Sounds great and only cost me $100. Suggest it to anyone for a affordable and enjoyable exhaust upgrade.

You can also try deleting the resonator for more sound and less restriction.

Do you have a video you could post to get an idea of how it sounds? Did you pick it up used?

Yes I got it used from a MS3 owner who was updating his exhaust. Also cat the cat back portion, but it is not a direct bolt on, so it will be a later addition. Would have to do a cat delete or cut-up my stock exhaust and retro fit. Will post a video later.

Yeah it was a good deal, lol. Gave a nice rumble on the 2.5L and increased throttle response through 4-6000. Corksport sri coming soon, hoping for more rumble and power in the top end.

i put a magnaflow, wasnt getting the sound desired, so i cut off one of my cat...now it a bit raspy. hopefully once i get my cold air intake it makes it a bit throatier

How is that check engine light treating ya then?

I'm sure you meant a resonator.

I did a res delete and replaced it with a QTP electric cut out. When I took out the one of the two resinators I noticed very little sound change

Oh and its a lot louder and deeper then the corksport when its open and no check engine light !

I too did the MS AB on my 2.5 and I have a SRI aswell. I enjoy the sound its not to over powering and its very deep.

deleting 1 resonator makes it louder then this? does it sound as good?
