I have 74,000 on my 2.5L. Should i consider replacing my plugs? if so, go to the dealer or aftermarket?

lol you should probably try searching a few things before you go making like 10 new threads...

Plugs should be good for 120,000km

If you don't what you're doing, then go to the dealer. You definitely do not want to cross thread your plugs or over torque them

Not what I was getting at but you make a good point. Although anybody with a bit if handiness can do it.

Purchase the plugs at a dealer. There has been many discussions on this and it's like 50/50 split. Plugs are a bit tricky, I haven't had problems with aftermarket plugs but many people have. It's generally accepted that OEM plugs ( for non speed guys) is a better choice.

In my opinion go aftermarket and then get NGK Laser Iridium, I changed mine at 70,000 kms on my 2.3L and the response and feel is better than regular iridiums. The cost however is more I paid $16.99 each and that was with my boys discount? So bank on $20 each.
