I had a wheel barring replaced in my front left less then a year ago and was installed backwards. During the winter some squacking and knocking would happen when I would turn fully to the right, I assumed it was that same wheel barring. Now my front left is knocking 90% of the time and I remember when the wheel barring went, it was more of a crunching/grinding sound that got a lot worse in a lot less time. I still ended up lifting my car to see if the wheel has some play or rocked/wobbled while still mounted tight.. there is no play what so ever.
Any ideas? could it be the cv joint?
I also have a loud clicking or pinging noise while dropping from 2500rpm in 1st coming from the same front wheel (not during shift, it happens when letting of the gas without breaking)
Thanks so much in advance!!

Car is going in today for repair, cv joint, shaft & boot were all shot. I'm amazed the damage is not worse since this had happened over the winter or earlier. $300+ well spent :(
