ARMDROP - Saturday May 18th - Picton Airfield!!

I Didnt see a thread posted about this event
not sure how many of you are interested as its about 1-2 hours away

BUT armdrop in Picton is this Saturday, May 18th
from 12-6 pm (gates open at 11am)

I raced last year & loved it, so im definitely racing this Saturday too.
$20 to race, $5 to watch.
and as far as i know they will be recording times this year (properly),
but depends if the system they have will work lol

just thought id spread the word :)

I should ask my Dad to lend me his MX-3 for that day. It would be good as long as the shifter doesn't drop....:chuckle

hahahah we do it near Ottawa all the time :P It's fun! Not going very fast but it's still a rush... and it's fun watching all the crazy things people will drag there (snowmobiles? what?)

EDIT: Also, FWIW, My little mazda3 beat a supercharged mustang LOL!!! There ARE witnesses, these events can be VERY entertaining hahaha

I took one of you before I jumped in my car. It was taken on my phone. Not best quality but its a solid shot lol. Btw did you drive on the outside*lane at all? I didnt realize how sandy it was until i jumped into the inside lane ! Still good fun.

Yeah, the 3rd lane was a guaranteed loss if you got stuck out there, what a joke. I had to lift in 1st and 2nd to clear the bumps.

Regardless it was another great day at Armdrop. People who are on the fence should really make the trek for the one in September. Always good times.
