Think of it as plasti dip clear coat! Looks like a fantastic product and a much cheaper alternative to an actual wrap. Perfect for trips to the cottage or long drives!

Looks cool though I wonder if it's available in Canada? Shipping aerosols over the border is usually a no-no.

A bit too late, car's less than a year old and already marred by swirl marks and scratches. Maybe after a polish I'd definitely put this stuff on the bumpers, mirrors and rocker panels.

Just sent off an e-mail to the company store. I have no idea what kind of access to the product I'll have but we'll see what they say.

Reply from company store:
"We checked on the product you requested and at present it is only available in the US. It should be available in Canada in the next year.
Sorry we could not be of more help.
Josi"

Looks like it's a no-go sorry guys! Someone will have to do a border-hop.

Doing a quick search, it looks like Autozone (http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/3M-Paint-defender-spray-film/_/N-25h1?itemIdentifier=255934_0_0_) carries it. Says in-stock for Niagara Falls ZIP Code area.

Just saw this thread.
I recently moved to the states, and picked up this sytem thinking it was a great way to protect the car for cheap.
I followed the isntructions to a T, watched every video. Wanted to make sure there was NO room for error.
I decided to spray my whole hood.
I dont know if my can was defective but I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with this product.
The can would spray (not drip) MASSIVE toonie sized chunks onto my hood as I was spraying. The instructions say to keep a continuous spray (which I did) to avoid this but it did not help. They also said that these chunks would disappear when it dried....they didnt.
As a result, it looks like someone botched a paint job on my hood. I was so disappointed.
I quickly removed it (obviously no damage underneath) and I am trying to get ahold of 3M customer service to get some kind of refund or replacement.
I cannot honestly recommend this product to anyone based on my experience.

TL;DR: Followed the instructions. Used it correctly. It was terrible. Could have been a defective can.

UPDATE: Spoke with 3M customer service and they basically explained that the product is currently in an "Open Beta." Many users had the same issue as me, apparently their engineers have re-engineered the nozzle and 3M is sending me out a new can.

It better work...else I'll be quite mad.

Ya I've read your issue before, but was still willing to try it.
