The tale as old as time, to grow a beast or keep it smooth?

If you have to ask, you don't deserve the beard.

Solid way to do it! I also work outside which makes it more acceptable to the girlfriend in the winter!

Screw it I'll get in on this.

I rarely shave with a razor, I will trim to leave about 3mm of hair on my cheeks ect. But always leave my goatee and stash. Its not horribly dark in colour so it's not so bad.

The problem arises for me that when I fully shave I look like im 12.

I too keep stuble due to the baby face.

If it wasnt for me having to wear a respirator at work id 110% beard all the time. I have planned a beard a thon when I leave this job in july. Beard away! But keep it neat!

When I grow a beard, I look like Jesus. When I shave, I look 15.

As a result, I always have a beard.

Beard (if you can call it that) during playoff months (go Bs), stubble rest of the year.

Man I have the same issue, hella babyface so I leave a hefty beard almost at all times, keep the neckline fresh though for sure

I am a hairy beast, as in see my vest LOL

I grew a goatee last year after the wife asked me too. I could shave everyday but am to lazy too.

I am actually letting it grow long now, I was gonna grow a leafs playoff beard, but I usually let it go longer then the leafs made it in the playoffs..

Shave IFF you use a DE or a straight, otherwise who would want to bother shaving.

I can't grow one - just a curly-ish stubble. I used to shave on weekly basis (sundays, so on Monday I look approachable), but ever since I got an electric shaver (Nothing too fancy) I try to shave daily/every other day!

Why only once a week with the cartridge?

I like keeping a 5oclock shadow. But I go clean before going to the airport.

Why only once a week with the cartridge?

Good question, but I don't really have an answer. Probably related to my laziness. With a razor I would always do a wet shave, meaning shaving cream, rinse, blah blah, effort effort, time. The electric shaver seems to do a well enough job if I just turn it on and rub all over my face. A fun activity to do when bored!

In all fairness, I still use the cartridge once a week, since it provides the cleanest shave on my neck.
