Initially I was going to take my car to Elevated Car Care, but Hamza seems to be away till July. I was searching through Google and found this place on Bathurst near Finch. I was skeptical at first so I decided to let them vacuum the interior and give my car a wash.

They were very professional and explained everything they were going to do, they pre-soaked my car with foam and used a high pressure hose to do some pre-cleaning. After that, two people hand soaped my car with mitts then and other high pressure wash. Followed up with some spray on wax (which I wasn't too much impressed by, but that's ok). They took the rubber mats out of my car, soaped them up and gave them a high pressure wash, absolutely amazingly clean!

After that, the car moved to the front of the four car garage to be vacuumed and cleaned inside. They were very accommodating given that I had a back seat full of stuff having just came from Windsor that day. So they vacuumed the trunk (again, a great job), then moved everything I had in the back seats to the trunk. They then proceeded to vacuum under the seats, the door sills, the seats themselves, carpets. They wiped down the interior and got into every nook and cranny. The only thing they didn't do was shampoo the rugs, which was not part of the package I paid for anyways. Overall, after about 30 minutes, I had a sparkling clean car with no stray crumbs or anything on the floors!

So, after that, I decided to give them a chance with the full exterior detailing. Peter (the owner) charged me $250 cash price considering I just got my car washed by him. I arrived there at 10:30am on Friday and I was told everything that would be done to the car (hand wash, compound, clay bar, polish, waxed). Peter walked with me around the car and had me point out where all the scratches were on the car. After that, we did the walk around again with the guy who would be doing the detailing of my car (I didn't get his name). Anyways, the fellow taped up the car, all the plastic pieces I had (like the eyelids, trunk step thing, and the lower valence).

The one guy who was working on my car worked pretty much non-stop (except obviously lunch) from 11 - 4pm. I'm quite happy with the results, he removed all the scratches I was concerned about including the nail scratches you get from opening the door (right behind the handle). The black roof came out a mirror finish. The glass was sparkling too. The detailer took the time to clean the rims by hand and dressed the wheels. The only concern I had (I should have checked before I left) was that there was a bit of compound left over under the window visors and in the sunroof visor. There's also a few specs of rail dust left on the trunk, I may go to Peter and see if he can deal with it.

The place was great, the staff are all friendly and allow you to watch the process of what's going on and ask questions. The waiting room is air conditioned with a TV and free WiFi, and most importantly (to me at least) - the bathroom is CLEAN!!! There are always a line up of cars and its kind of like a little well organized assembly line.

Overall, I'd have to say I'm happy with the results, there are some minor things but more importantly they took care of their customers and they took care of my car. I can't complain about the minor things since I didn't bring it to Peter or the detailers attention, but just thought I'd mention it in passing. :)

I'll post pictures later on.
