There was a plan to promote via the dealers. However, several dealers pushed back as they would not be represented at the Mazda booth.

Really short sighted view point from those few dealers. This event is selling the brand that they sell and need to sell.

Too bad those dealers can't be named.

Great news! well i think so. I spent a couple hours after work today driving around looking for places to drop off a flyer for H4H (thanks again ami, i gotta get some printed out soon!) I went to
- Kieswetter Mazda (hes gotta show the boss man, and se if its cool)
- Forbes Waterloo Mazda (the receptionist(the smoke show) told me she'd show them and have the salespeople knows whats uo
I was trying to think of places with lots of people going through, so i went tio the chapters in Waterloo and the manager said if i put it in a little case or something, she'd put it on display in the line. I went to a few Tim Hortons and they said to come and talk to a manager, which ill do this weekend.
I also met a guy with a genjaun sedan, lowered, evil M and whatnot, waved him down, and told him and tossed him a few flyers. He said hes down to come and will sign up to the forum as well!
I went to 91.5 the beat a month or two ago and gave them the press release, which im sure got thrown right out, but played a flyer in the waiting area, so you never know whos going to take a look, oh and i tossed one on the sportworld arean community board haha

Time to get some more people registered. Name of the game is tag a member that is not registered. On Friday of this week, everyone that has tagged a member(no tagging someone twice, or tagging someone that has already been tagged) in this thread between today and 5pm Friday, will be entered into a draw.

If you tag a member and they complete registration with payment, you will get a second ballot.

Two people will win Ultra94(usable at any Petro Canada for any grade of gas) preferred price cards. Each card is .10 off 100 liters of gas. Essentially $10 in gas.

If you look at the pictures from the record in Netherlands. There are plenty of cars that are not Miata's in the pictures.

Let's focus on the event, raising money for a great charity and having a great time.

I agree with the separation of models within the parade lap. Would be cool if that can be organized.

We made the call yesterday afternoon to open it up to ANY MAZDA . Need to reach the target.

As for sorting day of..in theory easy. In actual situation harder because we have to set up the lines, and different people with different models arrive at different times. Say we plan for columns for 20 cars, but have 34 Miata's, then we fill in the missing 6 spots with other cars...great. Until 20 minutes before we roll onto the runway 3 miata's show up.
Logistics is going to be insane...

I gave 3 away after work, 1 lady in a mazda2 looks really interested and a lady at kieswetter just bought a brand new mazda6 upgrading from a 3, she also seemed really stoked on it. Seems like women are the key! I was talking to a sales guy at kieswetter and explained it to him, hes got 2 mazdas so lets hope he signs up. Also, im pretty sure my sister is on board with her protege, and my buddy might be getting a speed3, so hes forced.

This year the Toronto Protege club will be running the MOM2013 event!
