Rear brakes seized

Has anyone had a situation where both rear brakes stopped working at the same time? Pistons go in and out manually but not with pedal pressure.

Mine look like it's working on the pedal but not with the hand break ....

Master cylinder failure? I am not sure if the 3's system is split front back or diagonally.

It seems the cheap ebay cross drilled rotors are cheap for a reason. The KVR rotors on the front didn't last long either.

Canadian tire got a good set of rotor and break pads ... monroe brand. I found out that both of my break pedal and handbreak are working properly. I just bought a cheap break pads on my rear, that's why is making noise... about to change it again and buy a set of monroe pads (it's ceramic btw).

Some cheap break rotor and pads are slimmer than the oem or some good brand. Either they won't last long or they make noise... either way it's a break we're talking about so why buy a cheap one.... i've learn my lesson :)
