Has anyone replaced their stock D2S bulbs (stock was Osram Xenarc 66240 I believe)
I'm trying to find a good 5000k D2S bulb which will last. Osram Xenarc CBI seems to be "The bulb" when it comes to lumen output, estimated at 3500 which is amazing. Only problem is that its 185 bucks for a set. the Phillips 85122+ are a direct OEM replacement, but have that same yellow tinge to them.
Morimotto has 5000k D2S bulbs but their lumen out put is at or less than 3000
has anyone replaced their bulbs if so, with what and how would you review your bulb?

I have the CBI, it is outstanding. The Morimotto bulb does not even compare. Osram make the best bulbs hands down. if you don't want to shell out the bucks for the CBI's the regular Osram bulb is whiter than the 85122+ bulb once it colorshifts, he Philips does not colorshift and therfore stays yellow but it is one of the brightest on the market because of that. The other thing about the CBI is that it has an advanced design that projects more light to the sides and has a brighter forward hotspot then other bulbs except for the SVS from Osram which is agruably a little brighter then the CBI but much yellower.

Thanks! Helpful review. I guess you swapped them in the speed3?
Did you purchase from TRS or local shop?
Do you mind stating the cost?

I got them from TRS and you should too. Lots of fakes on eBay. I paid $205 when they first came out on a group buy.
