As most of you know I switched my car over Air Ride over the winter and have been enjoying the final prototype for the Mazda 3 ever since. I've got about 7000km on the kit so far (planning to do a full review at 10k) but so far so great.

The kit has been awesome with absolutely 0 issues and it rides a lot better than my coils ever did. Everyone who's ridden in my car (enthusiasts and otherwise) comment on how it doesn't feel like you are driving a lowered car. One passenger, 2 passengers, car full of crap I can set it up so I can ride low and still not rub with ease.

The kit is a little different than the other options on the market because the front structs come with camber plates standard and they have a rear kit that comes with trailing arms that allow you to go super low AND still run your rear sway bar (I'm using a progress bar) which as far as I know other arms currently on the market don't allow you to do.

Also comparing my ride pressures with other owners on air the Air Lift kit runs at lower pressures which in turn is a more comfortable ride (looking at you Aitch).

Anyway enough talk more pics:

Awesome kit. But $4800 (MSRP) for everything with digital management? Hole. Lee. Cow.

will this now be a summer only car, presumably yes?

you'd be looking at more than that for a JDM Air Runner set up with old school paddle switches.

makes this kit a deal with the digital mgmt

This is their most expensive kit to date as far as I know but they wanted to offer a complete bolt in solution that would have no issues (now or in the future) and to do that they felt the rear arms were a requirement.

I'm just jealous of the double bellows in the rear.

im the last person you godda remind that too....dumdum...lol
alot of people i know who run air in passenger cars trucks, leave it for a summer only, due to weather snaps in the winter (freeze up) even the big trucks freeze up

Sure, it COULD be an issue. Many run with no issues though.

As for the cost, those Lower Control Arms would cost you in the $500 range to have fabbed up. I have seen the All Day Fab arms, and these blow them outta the water (nothing wrong with the ADF ones those). I would imagine you could buy the kit a little under MSRP, factoring in $500ish for the arms, your looking around $4K for air ride with digital management.

AirRex + AirLift V2 management + ADF control arms should come in a few hundred less than $4k I believe (at MSRP). I know I had about $2850 into my system (AirRex + V2 management). I'm not saying this isn't a great system and I would prefer it over my old setup, but it is a significant price jump.

Did your kit have the camber plates? I know Airrex offers two opitions.

No, but it was only a $150 option IIRC.

$150? I was talking to a "dealer" was quoted $400 ish for camber plate option.

It's nice to say I got lucky and just grabbed all in one kit, but giving it away for beans lol.

I'm going back for air though, but for my next vehicle.

I was quoted $150 bought at the same time as the kit, $300 separately.
