Drove up to Caledon today. Ended up with a couple of idiots doing photoshoot of a dropped Honda. In moving traffic. At 70-80 km/h. Guy snapping the pics was hanging halfway out of the photo car so he he could hold the camera 6" from the ground. All it would have taken is one bump or swerve and he would have been on the pavement being run over.

Reminds me of the people who go 120 mph on their motorcycles in Florida without a helmet because helmets are not mandatory.

You'd figure they'd at least come up with some sort of camera pole to stick out the car (still a dangerous idea on the highway, but much better option).
Too bad you didn't have a dash cam :P

Sounds like a bunch of peasants (no rig). Wouldn't be surprised if it was a hellaflush civic with a quick release racing wheel.

Ehhhh. My GF has been doing rigless rolling shots for awhile now. We are not peasants.

That said we never do it on the highway. Or any major roads for that matter

I've only ever done one rolling shot. So much fear when you wear glasses lol.
But that is a stupid stunt to be pulling in traffic regardless.

Maybe they'll crash in a ditch and die, of course without inconveniencing anyone.
Lets hope for natural selection.
