i used stock struts and shocks when i had s techs and had no problems. i needed adjustable camber arms because the camber was out of spec

you could thinking about a set of koni orange for the future if your stock blows

the stock struts won't last long and will need to be replaced soon especially if they already have 130k on them. i would just replace them now to avoid issues. go with KONI yellows or orange.

I bought brand new koni oranges front and back,I haven't installed yet cause i'm waiting on the koni set to get here and I have been over thinking the whole setup.I have never had a lower car but I really love the look of a nicely dropped mazda.

you won't rub while you are driving, just have to be careful when going over speed-bumps and entering leaving driveways/plazas

true, i even scrapped with a lip unlowered lol but thats not paying attention haha. With the konis you can adjust damping correct? just set it a bit stiffer, youre good to go.

Oranges aren't adjustable

so they are more like an OEM replacement? are they stiffer out of the box?

I'm pretty sure they are set at yellows softest setting.

so is this a green light on the koni orange with s techs? lol or should I suck it up and sell the teins and then buy the prokit instead. I dont mind being low i'm just worried i wont be able to turn properly which will cost me more if I have to pay a shop to remove them and buy new tires lol .thanks for all your help guys!

why do you think you won't be able to turn properly?

perhaps lowering your car isn't for you then.

I agree with most people. If you have a lot of concerns then when you lower it you will just be worried all the time. Don't do it unless it makes you happy.

+1 if you are worried, maybe u should give the pro-kits a try as they are a less aggressive drop (in most cases).

does the same thing apply where you put gen1 prokits on a gen2 its lower than 1.2in.
can you put gen2 prokits on a gen1 and get like an 1in drop?
