car battery and airbag light

so my car battery died last week but i got it boosted. but the day before the battery died i was pulling out of a parking spot when my power steering and electricals just stopped working. it was like my car just died then restarted itself again; never experienced this in my life. what might be the problem?

ps: today for some reason my airbag light came on but its off now, if it comes back on should i take it to the mechanic?

Battery needs to be replaced.

first part made me think alternator. Guess its time to get scanned for that airbag light tho. I bet if you end up with a xmas tree on the tach within the next couple days its your alt. then you will be on the road and loose all power. it can be a bit sketchy especially when you end up having to use the parking brake to stop.

okay so it happened again today while i was parking my car...lights were flickering then the engine eventually shut off.....
then i restart it and there it is, i see the airbag light once again. havent seen it since that one time last week. any idea what the problem could be this time?

Anywho, did you replace the Battery? How old is the battery? Check for corrision on the connectors.

not sure how old it is, but theres minor corrosion on it. ill have it checked tomorrow. this is a really weird lol
