Hi.
What numbers do you have your bass and treble set at?
Also, do you use the "ALC" option? (Automatic Level Control - adjusts audio volume to speed) If you do, what level from 1-7 did you set yours to?
Thanks!
:)

I have fairly specific EQ settings because of my aftermarket deck but just adjust it to the point where it's pleasing to your ears. There is no right or wrong way to set EQ, as long as you like it. But I do remember the Auto Level being annoying. I wouldn't use it at all, I don't like the feature at all.

Alc 1. Bass 3 treb 4 everything else 0. Treb should be set so in a rock song you can just hear the ting off the symbols. The normal speakers in these cars dont handle bass well so anything over 3 is just annoying.

Agreed on the bass. Mine is at 3, the rest is at factory default.

+1
There is quite a few factors that will affect audio settings. Quality of the song, Type of music, Position of the seat, the windows being down.
They will all play a factor in what sounds good and what doesn't.
If I had my treble set to 4 it would ring in my ears so that wouldn't work.
I listen to a lot of punk, ska, classic rock, hip hop and even swing. ( ya like 30's swing) so I had to find a setting that worked for me. IIRC it was 2 bass and 1 treble. 0 on the alc cause it was annoying.
