Just wondering how many people have gone this route? I've already got the magnaflow CBE on my gen2 but looking to go a little louder as some of you already know. Not gonna do this immediately but a little research cant hurt. I've talked to a few members who have this but looking to see who else out there has them and where they've gone to get this done.
I'm aware I could just go with the corksport but what can I say I like to go against the grain so to speak.
Opinions welcome.

You can always add in resonators or change things on the magnaflow set-up you have. That would be the most economical route.
I went Custom Exhaust and ended up putting on a V8 Camaro Magnaflow muffler and a 3'' Vibrant Resonator.
It's quiet compared to most aftermarket exhausts but growls.

Here's a step-by-step to pissing off your neighbours:
1. Find yourself a nice header - Vibrant SHOULD do the trick
2. Find a nice piece of stainless pipe - Bend it to fit from the Header to the ass of your car.
3. Install it - A shop may be used for this step.
4. Enjoy the sound - and the numerous complaints from your neighbours.

I got my custom exhaust from Solo Performance in Mississauga and would highly recommend it.

Have you removed any of yours? Asking since we have similar exhausts minus the race pipe.

yea, the racepipe is what replaces the cat. its just an overpriced piece of stanless steel that goes where your cat does, lol

I went CS TP on a Magnaflow CBE on Gen 2 Speed. The change in tone is definitely noticeable, especially when you get on it, but not it's not too much. There's no annoying drone at any RPM which is something that can potentially make you regret your exhaust setup. Just make sure you go nuts with the penetrating oil if you do TP yourself.

I've thought of this before but removing the res is really not an option as the magnaflow cbe on its own is already raspy so if I removed the resonator it would just be even worse haha. Considered header also but that would probably be too damn loud lol.
If I did a new setup I'd still do it with a res for sure. Just want to see what options are out there. I could just sell my magnaflow cbe down the road as well so dont want to hack it up just yet.

Race pipes are a piece of metal worth $40. You are asking 1/4 the price of a corksport cat back WITH a racepipe.

Straight pipe , did it myself with a buddy ... only have a muffler ... I'm the other way around...everything's stock and no muffler.
Isn't deleting cats/resonator effect your emissions? Would you still pass the E test with all that removed??

Emissions shouldn't be an issue with the OBD2 method of testing and a decent shop. Safety certification when reselling your car will be impossible without a muffler.
