I can't believe there are people out there defending what the bikers did...sick world we live in. Damn straight we'd all hit the gas and try to get away, be damned with what's in the way.

I just watched this but you cant really tell the whole story. Why did it start in the first place? and WHY THE HELL did the range rover person RUN OVER ppl on the bikes, I mean wtf... if the range rover person was a douche bag, which was highly probable I would have been furiously pissed off as well.

The range rover escalated it, and deserved to have his face smashed in at the end. This video left me with a serious case of blue balls too, how do you just stop recording like that??!?!

Not from everything I've read...it was bikers out causing shit, messed with the SUV, biker got tapped when he brake checked, bikers went to attack and SUV tried to escape. With a family in the vehicle every normal human being would have done the same.

All reports say they tried to enter his vehicle at that first stop on the highway. That's definitely grounds to go GTA on them.

I'm actually shocked there are people that support what the bikers did. As it stands, I don't think any charges have been laid against the driver of the range rover.

I'm guessing the SUV honked or something because the bikers were in the way. It's also reported that the SUV had called 911 to report the bikers before this even started.

Uhhh, at the moment it didn't look like they were trying to breach the vehicle. Stop the vehicle, lock the doors, call 911. Simple. Obviously if they started yanking on the doors and bashing the windows, i'd probably start creeping forward to remind them that Im in a heavy ass SUV and they are on a japo crotch rocket. But I wouldn't take it THAT far to slam on the gas... No one wants to get run over, so they would have moved lol.

Yeah, reports are a little fuzzy...a kid in the back seat and a wife seems for certain. I imagine it started with a bit of road rage, just got out of hand really quickly.

I think the problem lies more with mob mentality than anything else. If it were just 1-5 guys in bikes I can't see there being any situation. You get a group like that together on the road and it wont matter what they are driving, there's always the potential for trouble.

I feel sorry for that guy, his daughter is always going to remember watching her daddy get beat up...Sucks that he had to get off the highway because they slashed his tires.

Apparently, before this video the SUV driver had hit one of the motocycles and refused to stop to look at damages which is what lead to all this. Hard to say who was at fault for the accident because people said the motorcylcists are known for disobeying traffic lights/signs, etc. Not sure if it's true though.

what i have heard is the suv was being aggressive around the bikers trying to get around and what not. suv is a moron, and so are the bikers... all thou someone ran over my buddy on a bike ill be the first to admit i wouldnt have waited till he stopped

^+1, according to the report, the bike brake intentionally, creating a "hit me and you are screwed" dare. If my wife and daughter is in the car, I would have done the same thing, or maybe something even worse. I would have called the police though, and if it escalated to something like this, at least my ass was covered.

On top of the main debate, it's sad to see gun control activists using this event as a means to justify a right to bear arms. As if the situation didn't escalate enough. :facepalm

The video clearly doesn't tell the whole story (probably enough of it) but rumours are gonna circulate till the police properly investigate. Though it's interesting to see more bikers frown on this than defend it.

These guys were definitely out causing trouble to begin with, so although they might not have just gone after the SUV for no reason, they definitely had an appetite for mischeif so it wouldn't take much for other innocent drivers to "get involved" with their bullshit.

I was driving along Dundas a few weeks back and I watched a pack of 40+ bikes start to come up, I moved to the slow lane and let them all by. They were definitely a club out for a cruise as they all had the same vest on.

I was driving back from my parents last weekend and on the 401 in stop and go traffic there was a street bike leaving enough space between us so he could do a wheelie each time the traffic moved....about 3 times I thought he was going to meet the back of my tailgate.

Bikers get their rep based on how the bad ones act, my dad has had a bike for well over 20 years and has never had a problem.

what the SUV guy did was perfectly reasonable considering he was fearing for his life ( you could say it was self defence) as well as the lives of others in the range rover. What he should have done though was call the cops after being stopped the first time.

Also you know something is up when the group deletes their "other videos" as shown in the description of the live leak video that was posted for the events prior tho the incident.
Also lol at the bikers thinking that they are the "good guys".....

My reaction exactly. I too don't get how that escalated at all. Maybe I missed something. Seriously though what the heck is with people? Was the point of the cruise not to enjoy what you love doing in the last few moments before winter? Why are you ruining it by causing chaos on the roads and scaring the living crap out of a family? I would have called 911 immediately and just kept going down the highway. I probably would have at first sight of them owning the road like its Tour de France..

Just saw this, makes me so angry. I'm fairly certain they are rough riders.. this is how they drive, sometimes they'll have two cars at the back to make sure cars dont pass. They take over the road and mess with those who end up in the middle. I would have done more to defend myself in that situation. It's you verse a gang, doesn't matter if you were at fault (which I doubt he was), they won't be waiting around for the cops before harassing you and threatening your family.

This one time in bradford there were 2 harleys taking both lanes on hwy 88 going about the speed limit and 5 under at a certain point..... idiots kept blocking both lanes oblivious to the traffic behind them.

Too many bikers thinking they can get away because their bikes can fit where cars cannot.... To me some of them are worse than corolla drivers ( and that says alot :chuckle )

One less idiot on a bike. I would have reversed over more bikers. Gone forward and hit more. I would even step out and light up the streets if needed. They have no regard for one's safety or the simplest of laws. Why treat someone with respect if you don't get respect in return. Drive like an idiot, get treated like an idiot. Easy to say. You would have probably end up in ICU. If they have total disrespect for the law and there's +50 of them... you have to know when to pick your battles and when to run.

I'm surprised with this being NYC there were no cops around. I always see them directing traffic, chatting with other colleagues doing nothing. According to articles there were multiple 911 calls about bikings driving erratic. I dunno.. bikes usually attract the garbage of society who think they are 'rebels' against the norm. Inconveniencing everyone.. and for some odd reason they feel like laws of the road do not apply to them. "Hey.. why not clog the highway and bring to a stop." No one wants to mess with them or question their behaviour (aside from the cops) because of the biking stigma that you'll get hurt.

Not sure the accuracy of the comment, but I read that they brake check in hopes of a targeted high end vehicle crashing into the bike. Once they do they mob style surround the vehicle and demand compensation.

Bike gangs are bigger here then ever. The difference is they don't consider crotch rockets real bikes. Well they are starting to now.

I can drive 5 min in any direction from my house and get to a clubhouse. Plus the hells angles just opened up a retail store in Toronto.

The reason why you don't see them around all the time now is because it's a different class of people involved in them now. Your doctor could be a member and many are. That and Satan's choice and many other smaller gangs joined forces with hells angles. (the actually meeting happened at the clubhouse in maple about 8ish years ago)

These guys were a gang of bikers yea. They WERE NOT a biker gang. ( at least I haven't heard a club name yet)

Just to add, I have been with my dad in a 300+Bike Toy Ride and it was as calm as a windless day. The cops worked WITH the bikers holding traffic through town so the bikes wouldn't get separated.

My dad was asked to join HA but never bothered as he prefers riding on his own with a buddy, however, if he was ever in the situation he needed them, he knows who to call.

I would like to see a group of Hells Angels roll into NY and confront the bike gang.

Have any of you watched the previous 5 or 7 videos prior to this one video being posted up? The bikers were running red lights, riding in the opposite lanes, and riding on the sidewalks. Apparently they were trying to shut down the freeway to do some stunts when this incident occurred.

The guy that's now paralyzed wasn't supposed to riding anyway. He had his license taken away from him until 2017. There were ATV's and a shit load of unregistered bikes in the cruise.

All i can say is, i would've done what he did, except stay on the freeway until the cops showed up.

I can guarantee its not family, my dad is the only one with a bike out of both sides of family..

He has bike friends from 20 years ago that are apart of the group..
