My question mark is not working on my keyboard, but I am curious if anyone has painted their 3 before. If so, where did they do it and about how much does it cost.
Thanks,
Marc

Yes I have a few times but I work in a shop and if you shop around and your car is clean you can usually get your whole exterior of the car painted 2 grand or below

professionally painted will vary in price.
All depends on the body work, prep work, materials used, paint used and if changing color or not.
Could be as low as $1000 - and could range upto $5000 or more

Thanks all for responding.
It's the hood and one of the doors that looks really sad.

For the record, Nigel (superman) painted his entire car using spray cans. No BS. Honestly, I would never take on this kind of job........ but it did turn out pretty good.

Repainted the roof of my dads Buick the other day. The entire section was peeling, as if no primer was originally used. Anyway we stripped it, primed and wet sanded, 3 base coats and 3 clear coats. The finish was ok but not as good as factory. Mind you it all looked like crap, but the point is you could tell the difference visibly.
By no means a pro but to be honest I'm satisfied. Saved him a lot and it will get him by for now.
I am contemplating repainting my GV lip. It's already primed, just too nervous to do it to my own car. And now that winter is coming, I'm almost tempted to just wait until spring. Boo...

painting small exterior pieces is fine but the whole car? thats another story lol you will definitively know the difference. get it done professionally or look into vinyl wrapping, might be cheaper!

I'm pretty sure vinyl wrapping is pretty expensive
