Has anyone been playing? How do you like it or do you dislike it?

I personally am trying to find a car that resembles a Mazda 3 so I can see what it looks like when I put certain rims on it! Plus messing with the paint is awesome as well.

Also I love Trevor as a character. I just think the shit he says is great. The online though... until they fix it I won't be touching it.

Just buy the garage shop and you get free upgrades. Haven't tried the online game yet but I beat all the missions besides finding those lost parts.

How do you 'activate' the missions? Any time I've seen the '?' I do the challenges......but so far I've revealed the entire map by driving everywhere and that's about it.

This game was great but definitely too short.

However the detail in the environment and characters was awesome.

The driving was more refined Vs 4 and was oodles more fun.

Stealing the fighter plane was probably one of my more favoured moments

GTA V is awesome I only have two issues with the game.

1. As mentioned online is really wonky - although it should be fixed eventually
2. The story was kind of lame. Will try to avoid spoilers - may want to avoid reading. The only thing that kept me interested was the fact it was GTA. Story didn't interest me, there was no long term goal set to achieve. In SA you had to get your brother out of jail and confront big smoke and TP. Lots of twists and turns. GTA IV was to work towards revenge. Not as good as SA but still always kept you into it. I think of the story in this one and I think why am I doing what I am doing and I often found myself saying I don't know. It had potential to be a lot better once Trevor finds out the truth of what happened but it just turns into a lot of annoying arguments and never develops into anything more than that. Then the way it ties up the end is just killing everyone you pissed off for no reason. The missions themselves are mostly good but still not up to SA standards.

My favourite part about the game is the AI. They are actually noticeably smarter. I rarely ever notice improvements in AI in any series so I was pretty impressed. Police actually try different tactics of stopping you depending on if they have support or its not stopping you. They try to box you in or pit maneuver or smash the rear. I actually think they might be too good. They can kill you pretty fast and when you get away they seem to read your mind pretty well and look down alley ways that you'd think they wouldn't. Best moment of AI was watching a dear run onto the road and a pedestrian car swerve to avoid it and just clip it and swerve down the road. Any other game the car would continue on straight.

This. It's dramatically more difficult to get rid of heat. Sometimes it's a possibility off too since you'd think you're almost safe and they always find another way to spot you forcing you to do the running again. Usually however at this point the cops see you and just shoot you with deadly accuracy

Just finished the story last night
+1 the story wasn't really gripping at times. Its a small issue but overall this game is intense.
The cops now make the game so much more challenging. Driving mechanics take some getting used to from IV but its so much better.

I'd agree with you, but the only thing that stops me is the fact they delay it for PC and my friends all play xbox. Otherwise I'd get it on PC too. Mods make GTA so much more cool.

There's a bug/glitch after the update for the online and doesn't let you play any missions. Main story missions will be gone and missing cuz of this.

Got in and took off as the tanks were firing at me and people shooting at me. There's an entrance on the west side of Fort Zancudo.

Using a car or bike go through the security gate then there's a little entrance to a path that runs between the fences. Drive through that until you're about on the other side. There should be a fuel tank there.

There's an opening here. Drive straight through after the patrol is passed you and then go for the plane in the middle.

Take the plane and take off before the end of the fence. After passing the fence, dip low right away until you're out of the range of the fort. Start flying back towards one of your hangars.

Now that it mostly works. Super fun and addicting mixed with a few annoying twists regarding money. Early on money is way more scarce than in story mode.

For example.. insurance is expensive for cars and if its stolen or destroyed you pay another $1,000 each time to get it back. So people are just jerks and destroy your car and you have to pay for it. Plus when you die you lose another 2k. Plus what ever isn't in the bank. So many times I found myself not making any money because of that. Everything is expensive though.. at least until you make bigger bucks.

Right now the best ways with my friends are short races with just the 4 of us. Their fun, quick and decent payouts. The more people though the worse as its harder to get the good payouts. Also survival is good. reach round 10 and you get an easy 20k.

There are a few write ups about it from rockstar saying how and why its going to be done. It wont begin until the first week of November I believe becuase they are allowing it to be awarded to any player who has been online in gta in the month of october. It is in two different installments of 250k each right into your account. I think the first one is in week one and the second in week 3 of the month, but if you google it it will be explained.

Leveled up to 11 after being trolled. My favorite is the duel feature when someone is annoying. So far the game is really smooth on 360. Cops derp through walls occasionally but it makes escaping easier.

Rockstar won't release it unless its going to work properly. Just like the online being delayed 2 weeks. I'm waiting on the stock market thing that's in the browser. I'd like other ways of making money.

Yeah i dont think the stock ever fully recovers. Do you have a save file you can go back to? That would be the best thing to do.

When you start doing the assination missions listen to the calls and invest huge. With all players.

Martin missions and survival. 15- 20k each. Also Simeon cars that appear green on your radar. Around 10k for those.

Wow Martin missions pay out that much? On hard or normal?

I kinda hate Martin missions cause I can't beat the death from above in the mansion one :(
