I was thinking about starting a list of places where that have a good selection of rims and tires. These are places that I\'ve visited and my impressions about the shop

Extreme Wheel and Tire (Richmond Hill)
Great service and price, knowledgeable staff. Excellent selection, they can pretty much get any rim/tire that you want. The exclusive distributor of ROH rims in Canada, if not Toronto. Worth the trek up. BTW, this is where I bought my summer rims and tires.

Wheel & Tire Zone (Mississauga & Scarborough)
Great selection and competitive prices, knowledgeable staff. Sales can be a bit \"pushy\" in the Scarborough location but not overtly so. I used to go to the Mississauga location exclusively but after finding out about Extreme Wheel & Tire I won\'t bother anymore. The Mississauga location is where Tuner Transformation is shot.

Wheels Direct (Scarborough)
This place is a mess the two times I visited. Don\'t let that fool you though, if you want high performance or lighweight \"semi exotic\" rims, go here. The staff know their stuff, but if you just want to \"window shop\", they have a huge selection of rims on display. The only downside is that if you pay by anything other than cash or debit, add 3%.

Automotive Import Market (Markham)
So-so selection of rims, not the top brands. Tire selection is good as well.

Tiremag (Concord)
So-so selection of rims, not the top brands. Tire selections is good as well. Ever since the new owners took over, something just hasn\'t been the same. Too bad, this place is just around the corner from my house. The previous owners/sales people are now at the first two stores listed.

Wheelworks (Mississauga)
Only been here once, from what I remember if you didn\'t know what you were looking for you\'d miss the store, it\'s in the middle of an industrial park. Good selection, but not the top name brands.

Speedstar (Scarborough)
I believe that\'s the name of the store, it\'s on Sheppard and Markham. If you want expensive, lightweight exotic JDM rims (HRE, Racing Hart, etc) go here. In terms of rims, that\'s all they sell, the good stuff! Just make sure you have deep pockets.

They put the tires on my Jetta last time I got wheels. They were ok, but I don\'t know THAT much about cars.

A friend of mine at work was telling me that there\'s a place in Milton called Cheap Thrills that can get you tires for a really good price. For example, he was quoted $125 per tire for Michelin Arctic Alpins at a local store while Cheap Thrills had them for $80 each. There\'s just one catch. :sarc Cheap Thrills will install and balance the tires on rims for you, but if you want them installed on your car, they will give you the jack and torque wrench and you\'ll have to do it yourself. :sarc I kid you not, this is what my friend told me. Of course, this will work great off-season if you have a set of summer tires on your car right now and want a set of winter tires on your stock rims.

haha.. with my budget, I think the all seasons is all I can get. If i get winter tires, I\'ll get them in the winter. I\'ll see how the 3 drives in snow first.

Cheap Thrills is sounding good to me. That seems like a really good price, mind you I haven\'t looked myself. Thanks for the info.

My brother, (who now lives in florida) knows all the good places in and around TO to get mods, tires, rims etc. done. I\'ll ask him where\'s a good place. I know on his Integra he had aftermarket tints, rims, tires and an exhaust on the car. I\'ll ask him where he got his stuff from.

This thread was 6 years old...

There are now plenty of sponsors to this site that do great and affordable wheel and tire deals.
