So I picked up my first Mazda 3 GT Hatchback, White on black leather. Has 99K on it.
I have come from mostly SUV's and sportbikes, but I like the pep in this car.

Only question I have is I noticed the struts are extremly close to the tires (Stock), I can hardly get my finger between the tire and the strut (See attached picture), Is this normal?

Anyways, here is a pic of the new ride.

Future mods:
HID's (Headlights and fogs) $70 - ebay
Entertainment Headunit $300 - ebay
TV's in the headrests $150 - ebay
Darker tint all around (20%) - Not sure yet
Cold air Intake - Whats the best brand for the buck?
White turn signals all around - $18 - performance shop
Shark fin attenna - $17 ebay

Welcome to the community!

As for your strut question; seems pretty normal from the picture.
What size are the tires?

Just stock, I believe 215/55/17.
I have only had SUV's for the past 7 years, and there was a good 5" gap, Just seemed tight to me..... but I don't have experience in these cars yet

Congrats on the purchase. Intakes give the 3s a nice sound. I had an AEM CAI on my 2005 3 and was happy with it but maintainance was a bit of a pain due to its location. Running a Corksport SRI now and love it. I've been happy with every CS purchase to date.
