Yeah, I do that too. Also means that "if i lose my keys" I can still either get home (so my gf can let me in and make a copy of her keys), or get into my house (to retrieve my spare car key). Better than being locked out and stranded.
I honestly don't understand why more people don't do this.

I keep a spare house key in the garage and in case its not there Lexa has her keys to get in.

These are kinda cool, i would plastidip my keys but with all the rubbing etc. it would take a beating. My little R34 has lost a lot of its paint because of that.
