What do you mostly regret or would do differently with your current experience?

if i had to re-sing the lease again, i wouldn't have picked up base GS-sky but a GS-L sky and sunroof.

and mostly, my color, i took graphite grey, but lets face it, the only wheel color combo that doesnt look goofy is pretty much black or silver...
if i had to do it again, it would mostly be black or white

all i could do was red dip and tinted tails, originaly they were black but got a nice 150$ fine and i decided not to risk it and go red.

so whats your biggest reget?

My biggest regret would have been putting red accents on a grey car. You will like your car much more if your colours match a little better. Tinted tails are allowed, but maybe you didn't fight it correctly.

yeah, i rushed it, ill redo those in the spring. i just putted a bit of tape on the lights and did it, after only 1 month of ownership.

i personaly like the red emblems

buying an automatic (although when my left foot was in a walking cast for 3 months I was very happy I had an automatic)...and getting in an accident :/ I will forever notice the terrible paint match on my car to me it stands out like a sore thumb...

also I forgot to keep up my rust protection services (that I somehow didn't know I had paid for at the dealership) so I realized that my car is no longer covered...and I am noticing rust spots...

other than that I love my car

No regrets at all, I have really enjoyed my speed3. I wanted black at time of purchase and all they had was a velocity red on the lot. If I took black, I would likely have regretted it now and wished I had the red instead.

+1 I love my Velored too! No regrets. But don't worry. It took me a while too as I wanted a subie but deal fell through in the last minute and regretted jumping on this mz3 instead of searching for some other wrx. But I now absolutely love my ride and care for it more than my gf (and she hates this)

buying auto :(

I'll amend my answer, in that I sometimes regret buying an auto. I got it so my wife could drive the car but she still doesn't really drive it at all, so I could have been rowing my own all this time.

However the Skyactiv auto is pretty sweet.

My main regret is my choice of stealership. But, obviously I only found out they were terrible after all was said and done.

Sometimes I wonder if I should've went for the convenience package, for just 1k more. But, really, they are only gadgets and don't change the overall experience of the car. Probably would've been easier to sell it eventually, but so far I drove all my cars to the ground, except for the first one.

I regret that it doesn't have a USB plug (2012). Starting at the 2013 MY they have USB even on base model. But again, I'm using the AUX in instead with a USB charger.

Actually, I'm pretty lucky, I don't think I have any regrets on anything that's actually important (drivability, design, color, etc). Everyone have different needs. I'm just happy I got a great deal, pretty decent MPG, and a nice looking grocery getter.

I regret waiting 6 months to fix the )*#@U$%)*@#U clunking noise from my suspension... I figured it was the FSB bushings but I couldn't work up the courage to fix it on my own (and i hate going to garages) so I let it annoy the **** out of me for the entire summer and it ruined my summer driving experience.

Its fixed now.

wish we had a GT hatch instead, just for the little extra cargo space/practicality over our sedan and having the 2.3L 5spd auto instead of the 2.0L 4spd (lol)

This was the exact same regret I had with my 2010 GT Sedan. I wished I had gotten the hatch for the extra cargo space, and having a full door to get things in and out of the back.

Traded the 2010 GT for a 2012 Tuscon almost 2 years ago. Ended up getting a 2008 MS3. Justified to the wife by telling her, "it's like our 2010, but with a hatch!" :)
