LA Fitness - Anyone have a hookup there?

I'm currently with Goodlife, but with the change in job, I'm much closer to LA fitness - Currently paying $28 taxes in for multi-location use.

I've tried to talk to them on a few occasions, but have only been offered $30/month + tax with some ridiculous $350 initiation fee, or $35/month+tax with a $50 initiation fee. Any help would be appreciated :)

Your price is as good as it gets. Trust me. Cheapest I had was $50/month all in with my wife added in for +$35/month more. Guess you could call, tell them your current plan or walk in and speak to a manager. Good luck!

i go there.. pay the same thing. If you can get another person to join they will split that initiation fee between the two of you.

$30/month is really good for gym membership...as others said it wont get better!

When I was at LA I payed $35 and now at Anytime Fitness I pay $45.

Yeah that's how they get you. Factor that in to your monthly budget, and see how long you plan to workout at the gym compared to how many days/week you really go. Sometimes it's not really worth it. Sometimes you're better off running outside or just working out at home. $350 worth of weights, skipping rope, medicine balls etc. Is more than enough or more than you'll ever need.
