Hi Guys, still pretty new to TM3.

Recently I had some rough idle on the dash, based on other posts I decided to take my car to Street Performance to check out the mounts - just as expected passenger side #3 is pretty much busted.

So now I have to replace the darn thing, jimmy recommended buying the OEM mount from TM3 store (somewhere on Yonge up north) that apparently has a decent discount on mazda parts. Unfortunately I had little success searching the forum, can anyone point me to the right direction (or post)?

Thanks,

Stretch

He is likely Referring to Mazda of Toronto (MOT) as they give 10% off parts. I like going to Prima Mazda as they give 15% off, as does Whitby Mazda so it depends where you are located really.
Welcome and good luck,
eric

Whoa! MoT only gives 10% on parts now? What happened with the 20% we used to get in the past?

You could also look for some new or used aftermarket parts, the prices are probably very similar (or maybe even cheaper) than OEM. If you're set on OEM you could also post a WTB thread here, lots of people who have replaced their original mounts with aftermarket mounts would probably sell them for dirt cheap.

I believe the mounts are the same fit across all years/models. (someone correct me if i'm wrong)
Which mount is #3? Is that the rear mount under the engine?

Just some other options for ya.

i believe i bought the number 3 mount from MoT, and coincidentally i have the receipt on my desk right now as i was cleaning my room.

it's listed as 95.95, but i bought it for 76.76.

I've been getting the normal or 20 % off at MOT so I'm not sure why everyone is jumping to conclusions. Also make sure you ask when you call or go in to confirm.

Thanks for the replies guys, bit of an update - since I work at markham, went to the dealer near mccowen to get a quote of about 115 before tax.

Will definitely try MoT next, sounds like a world of difference there.

Cheers

My car was in for service today and I learned my passenger side mount was broken. This is the second one I've gone through, the first was replaced under warranty fortunately. I was hoping the first replacement might be more robust but it barely lasted two years. Car is a 2008 GT sedan with 138K. I assume something like the cp-e mount would be far more durable? Any issues running something like that for passenger side and OEM on the other two mounts? Much change to NVH? Hopefully this one will last as long as I own the car anyway.

Installed cp-e 75duro mount and yes I now get some panel vibration in lower gears at low rpms. But... After commuting a few times decided to order the TRZ driver mount. I want more!!! And I hear the hear whine is quite something. But with upgraded RMM and PMM it ain't Nothing even the factory stereo can't drown out

My wife complains she can no longer hear me well over the car when using Bluetooth... And it's probably not for everyone.
All I can say is shifter feels great, pairs well with CS Race RMM 70duro.

I hear that the cp-e 60duro is more tolerable for those who want a quiet cabin.
As for install, it was simple; just jack under oil pan (don't forget a board)and unmounted the old using ratchet and extender. Put the new mount in with red thread lock on the bolts... Presto.

I'll link a cold start video in the morning

Yeah I'm more interested in durability than the performance aspects. Any ideas how far off the cp-e 60 is vs stock for NVH? And is it compatible with an auto trans?

Use this link (http://www.torontomazda3.ca/forum/forumdisplay.php?204-Affiliate-Dealerships)to find the TM3 affiliated dealerships and the ones close to you with the discount %.

Mazda of Toronto is one of the affiliated dealerships listed and a good place to get parts/accessories.
