I am just speculating, but it looks like KVR (http://www.kvrperformance.com) has something brewing for the Mazda 3. No products are listed as of yet, but they do make Big Brake Kits, cross drilled and slotted rotors, brake lines and brake pads. What\'s even better is that they are a Canadian company, located in Ottawa eh!

I find the stock brakes quite impressive. The pedal hardly has to be touched to slow the car down. I couldn\'t imagine a 3 with upgraded brakes... I\'m afraid that the ABS will kick in when slowing for a red light lol

I like the perfomance of the stock brakes as well. Also, since I try to drive \"safely\", I never have to brake hard. I\'ll probably use stock parts until it\'s time to change them and then may consider aftermarket parts.

I hope AEM makes a big brake kit for the 3\'s. They make em for Honda Civics and Integras.

I just checked their site this afternoon and they now have cross-drilled or gas slotted brake rotors available (front or rear) for about $200 a pair.

just the rotors? I think I\'d rather have a full brake package available instead of replacing parts of the OEM ones personally...
