Ok.. so.. I ran 4 x 15" Falken Ziex 912's (alloy rims) on my 3 for the summer/fall and have been alright. Today, I threw on a set of 16" General Altimax winter tires (steel rims) and have noticed a couple things.
1) When I go over small bumps (like in a drive-thru, exiting a plaza, etc) the front suspension makes a creek/clang sound (didn't do this with the Falkens).. what could it be?
2) As I cruise along at lower speeds, the tires making a whoosh whoosh sound until I speed up (is this normal?.. haven't had winter tires on my 3 til today)..
Does this sound like a suspension issue (due to the heavier wheels) or would this be a tire issue? What do you guys think?
