After scouring the net and city for H11 bulbs that were nice and white, I decided to give these HOEN H11 bulbs a try... got the link off the M3F site. I\'m worried they aren\'t going to match with the bulbs I\'ve got in the headlights at the moment... but I guess it\'s better than the damn yellow ones.

Anyone have any idea how you could mess with the car to get the Fogs to come on with the Daytime Running Lights? I love the look of the fog lights, and auto only brings them on at night, and I\'m very forgetful, and forget to turn my lights on so the fogs come on. Not that I\'ll die w/o them on, if it\'s a quick fix, I\'d think about it.

I have the same idea of putting the DRL to the fog lights alone. I will try to find that out with my mechanic and I will get back to you as soon as I find out....... :)

You mean you didn\'t opt for the package that included the low beams as well as the fog lights? After currency conversion, the price of the 4 bulbs came to $100 CDN, the same price you\'ll pay for 4 Sylvannia bulbs from Canadian Tire. The H11 fogs aren\'t white like the H7 Hoen bulbs in the package deal. The stock bulbs are yellow, but compared to the Hoens that you bought, the Hoens will look white.

No word yet on the foglight/DRL mod, folks in the T.O.Protege Club have found a way to do it on their cars, but I guess Mazda has changed the wiring in our cars.

I thought about the package, but I\'ve already got two sets of lowbeams from ebay with a lifetime warranty... so spending another 60 on lows seemed overkill. I\'ll see how the fogs and my current headlights look, and if it looks dumb, I\'ll sell the ones I have, and pick up those Hoen ones...

God damn shipping kicked me in the balls though.

Hey MazdaTree,

Welcome to the forums. Just wondering, where in the GTA did you get the Clear Blue Silverstar signal lights? I\'ve checked two Canadian Tire stores and they don\'t have them.

MTree,

Thanks. I think I\'ll hold off for now. Was just curious about where I could get them. I saw pics of them over at M3F and they look decent. But I don\'t mind the amber bulbs for now.

Was thinking about getting a HOEN light package but forget it, I don\'t want to spend $100 on bulbs that will burn out. I want HIDs but with all the fuss about DRLs, its just too much trouble for now.

I bought that Hoen package through M3F.com. That included at set of 4 bulbs, 2 fogs and 2 headlights for $100 CDN. You can spend about $25 each for a single Silverstar bulb from Canadian Tire, they\'ll just have to order in the H11 fog light bulbs.
