Event sounds interesting. Though there are 3-4 memorial cruises the same day. I would also be more inclined to donate directly to the charity, as opposed to a tird party organization that I don't know.

I've only heard of the cruise mentioned in this thread. If there are others, someone should advise those hosts to cancel theirs and bring their people to this one. It would look better with one huge memorial rather than many individual ones. It would show that the Ontario community car community is united.

I think this one is going to have more people.. 400+ confirmed, 200+ maybes, 3300+ unconfirmed..

Based off all the event pages that I've seen on FB, this one is going to be the largest and covered by the news stations.

Just to play devils advocate. 1)The FB event is saying City Tv will be covering. Has anyone from City TV posted this ? Can this be verified ?
What logistics have gone into planning this cruise ? Have local police been notified ? What about overflow parking once CT lot fills up ?

I think the idea is great, but I worry about the execution.

If you think that one parking lot will be able to accomodate all 4 events coming together that would be perfect. However, I seriously doubt that would be the case.

Heads up though for anyone planning to attend, there's a construction on Lakeshore and Leslie which is the intersection for the CT.. Not a pleasant place to drive at, not that it matters because it's winter anyways but just letting you guys know..

Sure the CNE Grounds would make a better staging area, but now you need the City Of Toronto to issue a permit for use of the site.
The police will be a whole other situation. That and controlling general idiotic behaviour.

I just posted the image for the Ertefa one.. I think that's a better option. The CT meet will hopefully combined their's w/ the Ertefa one.

Because it's a memorial event; not a racing event or what not. Ticketing people for their rides would ruin it in my opinion.

Not to be a d*ck but if its ertefa hosting this event, i would just stay home. Nothing against the hosting part, it's the extremists that attend ertefa that worries me. I rolled into one a while ago, it was just out of control.

Burnouts, loud music, fights, you name it...i left right after the kid did some burnouts in his vette. That's when security and cops showed up. After that they had to change location a few times. It was just out of control.

Yesterday I posted on FB that there was 4 different meets.... all during the same time on the same day for the same cause.
This morning it turns out there are now 5 meets for this cause in the GTA.

Which one are you talking about? The ertefa one or CT or Vaughn? I'm still undecided because I'd like to be at the one meet where most of tm3 would be, but since the roll call on this thread is so jumbled now with different options I'm getting confused :/
