Now I seriously know why to leave out the trade-in until the final Mazda3 price is agreed upon. :)
Thanks for your numbers sw0rdfish, I was interested in the hatch price actually.

Take note that Swordfish DOES NOT have the sport... which is the hatchback
I paid $29,095.45 for my winning blue hatch.
The only option I did not go for was the leather. I did not purchase any accessories either.
Included in the price were the floor mats, rim wheel locks, one free tank of gas and one free oil change. (All free from the dealer)

Oops...
I saw GT, missed the Sport...
Sorry Wtom...
Leaving the Trade in out doesn\'t really matter much. If you have a trade in, the value of the trade-in will be MUCH less if you say \"oh by the way, I have a trade in.\"
Get them to put it in, add taxes, and hagle with that number... becasuse after all thats what you\'re going to be paying. Also, if you sell your car for $5000 but you trade it in for $4500 you\'re actually getting more on the trade, becuase you don\'t have to pay tax on $4500 of the Mazda... not to mention saftey, license and all the other hassels of selling a car...
I got $1000 off MSRP and I got $1000 more on the Jetta than any other place offered me. On the bottom line, I saved about 300 bucks from any other dealership... doesn\'t mean I got a good deal though, they probably hid the cost somewhere else :P
I didn\'t see any cars at the \"overflow\" lot I was talking about. I\'ll swing by again today,
